Van Persie Has To Start Up Front Against Boro / Goal Video Clip

DID YOU SEE OUR MAN VAN PERSIE score two sublime goals for Holland last night!?…Liverpool’s recent signing Kuyt was on the scoresheet aswell…that from a Van Persie free kick.

Others have said that Baptista should start upfront with Henry and Van Persie on the right…even though this would be a fantastic option, I’m not sure it is the best thing to do right now with Van Persie clearly looking so dangerous up front…Form players should be playing and he has no reason to be dropped to the bench or onto the right, even if it means Baptista doesn’t get to start straight away.

I will leave you to decide yourself from this video of Hollands 3-0 victory, watch out for Van Persie’s fantastic goals…

Arsene wenger is supposed to be a fantastic coach but he hasnt managed to get the best out of van persie. the guy is so talented. Van Basten only has him for a few days and look how well he plays for Holland

I think hes been wasted a bit so far. wot can he do when he just comes on for 10-20 minutes. Hes too good to have been on the bench so many times. Hopefully he will establish himself this year but with the arrival of baptista i can see him palaying less

Gilberto is the duck's guts, the bees knees, the European Champion's League dream team's machine, but in the Premier League he is nothing short of woeful.

Prefer Diaby, Flamini, Edu, Parlour, Vieira, even Van Bronk! Perhaps even Song (if he ever gets away from his uncle's bungling ways!)

Agreed - the formation above lacks muscle, but Fred's a terrific terrier [if fit].

How come he don't shoot from that distance for Arsenal, he does for the Dutch even in the game before Vs the irish

Cracking goals. Totally agree, although he never set Highbury on fire I warmed to him immediately. I reckon a 4-3-1-2 for the Boro, with Henry and V. Persie up front, The Beast behind them, Fab in the middle with Hleb & Freddie starting the game left and right and Eboue, Toure, Gallas and Flamini at the back. Shit hot formation in my humble opinion!
