Good day everyone. I hope my title was appetising for you all at 3.30pm so you can all enjoy your evening dinner in peace. Then it’s on to Sevilla vs. Arsenal tonight, ALMOST an irrelevant game for us as we are simply playing for top spot rather than to qualify...I'm not complaining.
So...what the hell is this title about I hear you asking. Well, since I have been gone for such a long time as explained about a week ago...I thought any readers who read this blog regularly may be interested in who "Bilal Zaidi" is... AKA who is ArsenalReview.co.uk. The internet is such a blinding portal...where we get used to reading things written by people we never will meet or get to know. So by giving some insight into who I am...perhaps when you read one of my articles...you may get a feel for what I'm trying to portray.
Well let’s start from the beginning without longing it out...I'm Bilal Zaidi...sometimes written as Mohammed Bilal Zaidi....lets clear some things up....no I’m not a terrorist...yes I am born and bred in London, England...and yes I breathe the soul of Arsenal Football Club like many of you reading this.
I can be controversial...I can be random....I can chat a lot of nonsense too....but I try to be different and hopefully you may appreciate that from now on. I'm a second year university student at Imperial College London...And right now I’m bleeding like a woman on her period. Unfortunately yesterday I had to undergo a minor operation to help me to breathe through my nose and now I'm at home trying to pass time and controlling my bleeding through my nose with a sanitary towel wrapped around my face. How delightful.
So....what do I represent on the vast Arsenal blog scene? Well...I am from London and Arsenal is quite a local club even though I’ll be honest and say West Ham is closer to my home than Arsenal...but from the age of 5 I have supported Arsenal perhaps due to the influence of my older cousin. Ever since the age of about 12 I have followed Arsenal religiously...I try to go to as many games as I can but am not a season ticket holder at the moment.
I represent the intellectual generation of Arsenal fans but more so the Arsenal fans who don't want to just say "FUCKIN WANKER CUNT REF" or "FUKIN YIDO SPUD FANS".....even though occasionally I do enjoy a good old colloquial rant involving many a curse word. On ArsenalReview.co.uk you will find an analytical approach to the football world. Predominantly Arsenal football articles but also on European football occasionally and also the national circuit. I will discuss football in terms of results...Arsene Wenger and his unique philosophy and how it impacts our lives...transfers when relevant and honest...not made up bullshit...financial situations in the world of football and how this may affect the rest of the UK or the world.
ArsenalReview.co.uk is my website...I can write what I like and it is a place for me to share my views and get off my chest some of the thoughts my over thinking mind is conjuring up. But the number one thing here is that I like to SHARE my views...this means with the help of the readers and people that post replies...it makes the website a better place.
Also add to this that I am now putting live video football streams through this site...I am trying to improve what I am offering to my readers and website viewers. Anyone interested in publishing their articles on football are welcome to contact me...you will be published on this site with thousands of people reading your opinions and reviews. Isn't it rather pretentious to describe yourself as an intellectual, let alone claiming to be the representative for other intellectuals?
Good luck with the blog but you should probably concentrate more on the football than on telling us how smart you are. Show us instead.
