Eduardo SPEAKS and is to "DEFINITELY RETURN"

It has been reported in the Croatian press that Eduardo Da Silva spoke to his Croatia coach after his operation last night.
Bilić said: “He called me, said he was okay and will definitely return. I felt huge optimism in his voice and the will to return to the pitch. The important thing right now is that Eduardo is mentally strong and believes in his return, which will help his recovery.”
If this is true, it is encouraging news for everyone and we all hope to hear the official news on Monday. We all wish Eduardo a speedy recovery.

Let's hope this is true.
Best of luck to you, mate.
This is really good news. Good luck Dudu, and hope to see you on the pitch soon.
Win the title for eduardo.
It can be done and show the red
faced AW doesn't throw millions to
do it.
Cant wait to see that number 9 shirt on the pitch again.
Until we hear some real medical opinion on this I don't think you should be writing headlines like this one saying he will "DEFINATELY RETURN"
Its too early to say, surely impossible for anyone to know, & whilst its great to hear of his positive attitude let's just wait for some real news
Get well soon Eduardo
Good luck, Eduardo!
Speedy recovery and keep up the positive thinking.
Terrible thing to happen to a good guy and a great finisher. Lets hope Eddie comes back strong and in the meantime lets lift the premiership title for him! What the heck, lets do the champions league to for him!
Henrik Larsson suffered a horrific leg break in his career yet went on to be a devastating finisher and is still playing well into his thirties. Eddi should take encouragement from that example and its great he is positively thinking.
Good lucky Eddie and I hope you recover from this horrendous injury and lets hope Arsenal can win the league for you. Just like they did for Robert Pires in 2002.
Henrik Larsson made a 4 month recovery from the same injury.. Let's hope Eduardo can do the same! As long as he stays positive I don't have any doubts that he will come back in the red and white!
i am still in shock.we have to lift the championship for Eduado.
wish you a speed recovery Dudu.
hope to see you doing what you know best, playing football and scoring goals.you will be in our prayers.God bless you.
I'm not the superstitious type, but I'd certainly begun to think the "Curse of the No. 9" was gone! Bit of a worry and it completely overshadows the brilliance of Theo - long may it last (will he be our late season Freddy on the run in?). Was anyone reminded of Henry's wondergoal vs Spurs in 03?
dudu in our heart..
Please come back soon, We love you
Best wishes for you, Dudu!
We love you so much!!!
Best wishes for you, Dudu!
We love you so much!!!
Dudu, if wishes and dreams come true you will have a Premier Lge medal in May and be captaining Croatia at World Cup 2010, U have at least 60k friends in Holloway mate and we will audibly sing your name at EVERY game this season. Take it easy mate. U will rise again!

As a Celtic fan I should know that lethal finishers can be even more lethal after a lengthy spell out. I wish Eduardo the best of luck getting over this horrific leg break.
we were really just starting to see eduardo shine. i always belived he would have the quality and all the right attributes to make it at the highest level in the premiership and become an integral part of wengers "third team". his goalscoring record speaks for itself. best of luck with your recovery mate
Nobody knows if Ed will "definitely return". It appears those words came from the man himself, and wouldn't a player want to return to play?
We need to hear this from the medics, the specialists, the hospital.
Until then, it remains a BIG, BIG question mark.
im not sure if you know but he had a very small interview which was an the official arsenal site yestoday saying he is determined to come back and tackling about the incident
I'd admire Eduardo's courage but after a break like that, I'd be very surprised if he recovered fully to play for us again...
disgraceful tackle - can't believe people are defending Martin because of his character... the tackle speaks for itself - dangerous and reckless - should get a season long ban if there is any justice...
and Eduardo/Arsenal should sue him
