CL Arsenal v Manchester United Preview, Van Persie Back & 4-4-2?

Good day to you all.

I have been getting a few e-mails asking what has being going on with the site. Apologies for the lack of updates but I have been in the busiest period of my life and only have a couple of weeks before my last ever exams 🙂

However, there is good news on two accounts.

The first is that we play tonight against Manchester United in our biggest game of the season. We are lucky to only be 1-0 down from the first leg so let’s hope we can capitalize on our only chance of silverware this season. The guys should be up for it, Van Persie should be back into the side with us lining up in a 4-4-2 formation so I see no reason to believe we can’t qualify tonight. It is obviously a huge task, but it is nights like these that end up being completely random and magical…OR…heartbreaking and emotional. Let’s hope it is the former.

The second bit of good news is that Arsenal Review is being professionally redesigned and should hopefully be re-launched in a month or so. The new site promises to be a great step forward into the world of web 2.0; allowing us all to be connected in our shared pursuit of Arsenal-loving antics.

So to summarize, posts may be limited in the next month but will be back for good soon with a fresh new site and lots of new features.

To stay connected you can follow the updates on twitter (@arsenalreview) for tonight’s game and other updates on arsenal-related activity. Also feel free to add me on twitter (@bzaidi) to stay up to date with the happenings of the new website and to stay connected.

So, I wish you all a great night if you are going down to the Emirates and for all of you watching at home or in the local pubs of London and beyond.

I will be sitting in a small village surrounded by fields of sheep with a pack of United fans ready to wind me up. Wish me luck.
