Chamakh - Bordeaux Striker Video - Potential Replacement for Adebayor?

This lad looks like a decent player but I still think a striker isn't what we need.

He is an average striker

13 goals in 34 games is not a great return for a striker in a Ligue 1 winning side, who at 25 should be at the peak of his powers.

Ade is a far better striker and hopefully he will stay.

I don't see Chamakh coming. Re-read AW's interview that led to this link and you will find him giving an equivocal answer to a direct answer, just as he can be expected to respond. I do think though, that the money from a possible Ade sale would fund Cana's purchase who's 7m value looks just right, and maybe a second centre back if an opportunistic deal offers itself. Otherwise, we'll be done in the transfer market this season. Put any of our remaining strikers in front of Andrey as the second striker and we can dissect any defense next season.

Looks more like a Morrocan Bendtner to me, and we already have one of them.

I didn't know much about him but from what i've seen on that video he looks better that Adebayor.
He looks faster, and better on the ball, and a arial beast. Even though he might need time to adapt it would still be a great buy for 7 million.
Also everyone agrees that we need a DM, and i see Wenger definitely buying one. I think he will buy Chamakh after seeing this video as an Adebayor replacement and he might even buy one more CD.

he is not that good i don't really like him i think Adebayor is much better of him so we must find better replacement maybe we don't need, what do you think of walcot fitting the striking role instead of adebayor

Chamahk has the right build, sufficient technique, very good pace and excellent teamwork and makes the effort to do the little things that lead to goals. The epl will be a step up for him, but I fully expect he will contribute to our success on the pitch. He is also a positive character and shouldn't prove to be as disruptive or motivationally challenged as Ade was, in sum he could hardly be worse. Now, a rock solid dm Wenger and we're away.

Players like Chamakh will take time to adapt.Wenger should go for a more powerful striker who will take less time to adapt the Ashavin did.I prefer Wenger should go for Martins or klaas

LOOKS BETTER THAN THE OTHER VID ON YOU TUBE. I HAVE DOUBTS BUT I RECKON HE HAS POTENTIAL. MAYBE NOT THIS SEASON POTENTIAL BUT NEXT MAYBE. IN WENGER I TRUST.

How people can say he is the worst player in the world is confusing....i say give him a chance ,cant be worse than adebayor and bendtner thats a fact ,seems brave ,strong and willing to score with head and feet ,alot more than adebayor has/can do.

Chamakh looks to have pace, is strong, is brave, is powerful, and can score with both his feet and his head. Did i mention he was skillful too? He appears to be a terrific target and should be an adequate replacement for Adebayor.

i would definently give this guy a try to repace adebayor a rekon some of his finishing reminds me abit like henry this guy has top class finishing and brilianttt in the air
